Box Score MASON, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University Baseball Trojans (28-22, 20-10 G-MAC) lost to Lake Erie College (29-21, 19-11 G-MAC) 6-3 in the third round of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships played at Legacy Field on Thursday.

Lake Erie jumped ahead 2-0 in the first off of a two-run home run … after scoring again in the second the Trojans got two back after Joseph McNamee (JR/Mt. Juliet, TN) singled in John O'Dwyer (JR/Nashville, TN) (single) … Braden Odom (SO/Chesterfield, IN)'s groundout plated Chandler Miller (JR/Marietta, GA) (single) … the Trojans trailed 5-2 entering the bottom of the sixth before Sam Mang (SR/Woodstock, GA) hit his team-leading 10th home run of the season … Lake Erie hit a solo home run in the eighth and won 6-3.

Five different Trojans had multi-hit games … Sam Mang and Joseph McNamee were both 2-4 with an RBI … John O'Dwyer (2-4), Chandler Miller (2-3) and Javier Lopez (SR/Lawrenceville, GA ) (2-5) … Cole Alsup (FR/Mt. Juliet, TN) started and took the loss … Alsup falls to 2-2 on the season after throwing two and a third innings … Tyler Koprowski (SO/Canton, GA) came on in relief by striking out nine over five and two-thirds innings … Jay Bernard pitched the ninth striking out two.
