MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (1-0, 0-0 G-MAC) rallied from a 5-0 deficit with 10 unanswered runs for a 10-9 win at the University of Montevallo (2-3) at Kermit A. Johnson Field.

Montevallo scored three runs in the bottom of the first and two more in their half of the second for a 5-0 lead … the Trojans broke through with a solo home run of the bat of Braden Odom in the top of the third, but the Trojans and Odom were not finished … in the fifth the Trojans plated three runs and took the lead for good with six in the sixth and a 10-5 lead … the Trojans produced 10 straight runs, but it nearly wasn't enough as the Falcons rallied and with four more runs and had the tying run at the plate when Tyler Koprowski recorded the final out and picked up the save … Odom hit a grand slam in the six-run sixth inning for a break out opening day … Chase Douglas (1-0) came on in relief of starter Drew Pierce and picked up with win Â
