HOW IT HAPPENED
Ashland built up a 3-0 lead in the game's first two innings and maintained the advantage the whole way … the Eagles tacked on another run in the sixth before scoring a single run in both the eighth and ninth innings … Ashland pitchers combined to strike out 16 Trojan hitters while only allowing three hits in the Eagles' 6-0 win.

Trevecca remains at Jackson Field to host both the University of Southern Indiana (6-1) and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside (0-6) over the weekend. The weekend series kicks off with a 6 PM meeting against USI on Friday and then a doubleheader against USI at 2 PM and then UWP at 6:30 PM on Saturday.
