The conference-leading Yellow Jackets hold a 13-6 lead in the all-time series, securing their sixth straight victory over the Trojans; having not fallen to Trevecca since the 2016-2017 season. The Trojans last defeated Cedarville, 73-72, on the road at Callan Center January 5, 2017.

HOW IT HAPPENED
A pair of Adam Webb free throws :13 seconds into the game and a Reed Smith basket at the 17:42 mark pushed the Trojans to a 4-0 lead … the Yellow Jackets did not score until Kollin Van Horn converted a layup with 17:22 left in the half … a Conner TenHove three-pointer put the Jackets up 5-4 at 16:50 … Trevecca regained the lead and led 14-11 with 11:14 to go in the half … a 6-0 Cedarville run put the visitors up 17-14, a lead they would not relinquish the rest of the game …

TEAM STATS BREAKDOWN
The visitors scored their most points in a regulation game this year. Cedarville shot 47.1% (32-68) from the field and 48.3% (14-29) from three-point range … the visitors continued to shoot lights out at the line, hitting all 13 attempts … Trevecca shot just 38.5% (26-65) from the field while hitting 35% (7-20) from three-point range and hit 10 of 13 from the foul line. The Yellow Jackets pulled down 41 rebounds to the Trojans 36. Both teams limited their turnovers to single digits (CU 8, TNU 9).

Chris Rogers led Trevecca with 16 points off the bench, shooting 7-of-11 from the field and added a team-high three assists. Reed Smith nearly recorded a double-double with 14 points and eight rebounds - hitting 6-of-11 from the field. Imani Starling also reached double figures in scoring with 10.

WHAT'S NEXT
Kentucky Wesleyan (3-5, 2-0 Great Midwest) hosts Trevecca on Thursday at 7 PM in the Sports Center in Owensboro, Ky. The Panthers have won seven in a row in the series and are 11-2 versus Trevecca all-time. Trevecca last defeated the Panthers January 25, 2016.

Davenport University (7-4, 1-2 GLIAC) visits on the 21st of December, the final Trevecca Athletic event in 2019. The game tips at 2 PM. It is the first-ever meeting in men's basketball for the two schools.
