Walsh jumped ahead with a goal off the foot of Olivia Peters at 3:10 for the early 1-0 lead. Brianna Sanborn scored with an assist from Peters at 21:35 for a 2-0 first half lead.

WHAT THE RESULT MEANS
The loss keeps the Trojans on the postseason line. They will have to secure a top-six position playing on the road. Delayna Holman saved two of the four shots on goal for the Trojans. Cav keeper Mickey McClanahan saved both shots on goal by the Trojans. Â
