Trevecca looked to ride the wave of their five-set win on Monday over Ursuline and jumped out to a 3-0 lead on Lake Erie in the first set … the Storm took the lead 7-6 on a 7-3 run … the Storm took the lead again 8-7 and did not trail again in the set … LEC ended the set with a 10-4 run and a 25-13 victory … Trevecca led 2-1 and despite LEC taking the lead the Trojans rallied back for 12-11 lead … with the match tied 17-17 LEC scored seven straight for a 24-17 lead before winning 25-18 … the Storm jumped ahead 8-0 in the third set, putting the Trojans on the edge … Trevecca scored four straight, but never drew closer than six the rest of the way ÂÂ

The Trojans face Alderson Broaddus University (3-4, 0-1 G-MAC) on Saturday at 10 AM. The Trojans lead the series with the Battlers 4-3.
