The Trojans fell behind 3-1, but roared ahead 7-4 and led the remainder of the first set … Trevecca led early, 6-1, in the second set, but ODU rallied to lead for most of the middle section of the set, Trevecca trailed 15-9 and then 21-17 before scoring the last eight points of the set with seven points on serve from Lydia Yonce … the tight third set had 18 ties and eight lead changes with the visiting Panthers getting the last surge, with Trevecca leading 22-20 Ohio Dominican closed out the set outscoring the Trojans 5-1 and extending the match to a fourth set … the Panthers carried the momentum into the fourth set with a 6-1 lead and led 10-5, both times the Trojans rallied with long serves turns – first with Jordan Sprinkle and then with Leilani Victor … the set had 12 ties, but only one lead change, the finally claimed the lead at 21-20 and never trailed again

The Trojans conclude their three-game home stint with a meeting against Alabama-Huntsville (15-4, 5-2 GSC) on Tuesday at 6 PM in the Trojan Fieldhouse. UAH leads the series 5-1. An interesting twist is the older sister of Trojan freshman Lydia Yonce is a senior for UAH. Trevecca associate head coach Emily Moore coached the older (Lorah) Yonce when they were both at Hume Fogg High School in Nashville.
