CLERMONT, Fla. – The Trevecca Nazarene University softball team (10-5, 0-0 G-MAC) split their two games at the PFX - The Spring Games Thursday. Trevecca fell, 8-4, to St. Cloud State (10-5) then defeated Minnesota State University-Moorhead (5-10) 6-2.

GAME TWO: Trevecca is 2-0 all-time versus Minnesota State University-Moorhead in the NCAA era. The Trojans defeated the Dragons, 4-2 on Monday.

GAME ONE: St. Cloud State took a 4-0 lead in the first inning … the Trojans responded with a pair of runs in the second behind an RBI triple from Kelsey Seitz … a MaKray Odom single drove in Seitz to cut the Huskies lead to 4-2 … Seitz drove in her second round in the fourth when she laid down a sacrifice bunt which brought in Megan Groves … the Trojans trailed 6-3 when Mary Collins single brought in the Trojans fourth and final run … St. Cloud State won 8-4.

GAME TWO: The Trojans took a 5-1 lead in the third inning and never looked back … Bailey Alexander, Mary Collins, and MaKray Odom all singled and drove in a run … Megan Groves hit a double and drove in two runs to cap the five-run third inning… Tana Whited hit a solo home run, her sixth of the year, to cap the fourth inning … Trevecca won 6-2.
