Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (2-3, 0-0 G-MAC) fell in three sets to Lee University (4-1, 0-0 GSC) on Tuesday at the Trojan Fieldhouse.

After falling behind 5-1 in the first set, the Trojans rallied to tie the game at 15-15 before ultimately dropping the first set 25-17. In the second set the Trojans fell behind 19-9 before closing on a 5-1 run with set ending 25-17 in favor of Lee. With Lee leading 8-7 in the third set, the Flames went on an 8-0 winning the set 25-17.

Jordan Sprinkle led the way for the Trojans with a .250% hitting percentage while Madison Clements had a team high five kills. Gracie Pierce led the team with 14 digs and Macee Bingham had seven assists. Seven Trojans had at least two kills as the team combined for a total of 20.

As a team the Trojans collected 88 total attacks adding 20 kills. The Trojans 16 assists and 40 digs were not enough to overcome the Flames.

Trevecca faces the University of West Georgia (1-3, 0-0 GSC) (Live Stats) at the Bellarmine Fair/Expo Kickoff at 8 AM on Friday, September 8th  at Knights Hall in Louisville, KY (Watch Live Video/Statistics). The meeting with West Georgia is the first in the NCAA era. Trevecca will have their second game on Friday at 3:30 versus Arkansas-Fort Smith (2-2, 0-0 HC). The meeting will be the first between the two teams in the NCAA era.
