HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (2-2 lost both of their games on Saturday in the Alabama-Huntsville Classic (UAH Classic Home). The Trojans were defeated by Harding University (5-0, 0-0 GAC) in four sets (25-20, 10-25, 20-25, 22-25) then lost to host University of Alabama-Huntsville (3-1, 0-0 SIAC) in three sets (12-25, 15-25, 12-25) at UAH's Spragins Hall.

GAME 1 CHRONICLE

Trevecca 1, Harding 3

The match started with a 5-0 Trevecca run and the Trojans held Harding three points or more down the rest of the set … Two Harding runs in the second set, 9-1 to start and a 10-1 run to close out the set, evented the match 1-1 ... Trevecca, down 9-4 in the third set, rallied for an 11-11 tie, but Harding used a 6-0 run for a 23-16 lead and held on for the win ... Trevecca held a 12-11, but Harding pulled away with a 6-1 run for a 22-17 and held on for the win

A 8-0 Huntsville start to set one set the tone for the match, Huntsville added another 8-0 run for a dominating first set win … UAH led 12-6 in set two, but an 8-0 run put the Trojans ahead 19-17 and led 22-18 before UAH closed the set on a 7-0 run … Alabama-Huntsville started the third on a 9-1 run and and held off the Trojans for the win

The meeting with Lee is the 20th in the NCAA era with Lee on top of the series 18-1. The Trojans last meeting with the Flames was Nov. 8 last year, with the Flames getting a hard-fought five set win
