Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The third-seeded Trevecca Nazarene University softball team went 1-2 on Saturday in defense of their four consecutive Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) softball championships. Trevecca defeated regular season champion Cedarville University 9-0, but a pair of losses to Kentucky Wesleyan before and ofter the win proved the end to the Trojans season.Â

GAME 1: KWC 9, TNU 6 – The Panthers struck first with a grand slam in the third for a 4-0 lead … Trevecca turned the table with a four-run fourth, but KWC kept adding to their totals with a run in the fourth, Trevecca tied it at 5-5 with a run in the fifth, but KWC scored two in the fifth and sixth while TNU only scored a run in each frame for the 9-6 final
GAME 2: TNU 9, CED 0 – Trevecca scored a run in the top of the first for a 1-0 lead … it held until TNU scored six in the sixth and two in the seventh for the 0-
GAME 3: KWC 12, TNU 2 – a five-run top of the fifth decided this one and ended the Trojans season and four-year run as conference champion … Trevecca scored a run in the first, but did not scratch their second run till the fifth, but by then the Panthers were in control 9-1

G-MAC TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS
MaKray Odom (7-14), Kaitlin Crumpler (6-12), and Mary Collins (6-12) all hit .500 for the week.Â
Odom scored five times with a title and went 2-2 in stolen base attempts
Crumpler had three doubles and four RBI
Collins added two doubles and a home run with a sac hit, three runs, and three RBIÂ
Caitlyn Hudgins added a double, home run, and five RBI
Raygn Hall had a 1.80 ERA w with a win and a complete game shut out
Savannah Carr had a 3.60 ERA with a complete game shut out

Alex Richardson and Kat Burbrink are the only two players to start and play in all 55 games, MaKray Odom started and played in 54 of the 55 games

Ben Tyree completed his ninth season at the helm of the program and owns a 329-132 all-time record. Tyree's Trojans are 83-19 in G-MAC regular season play and are 40-16 in the postseason. Including the NAIA Era, Tyree has a 152-36-1 record in conference regular season games. In the NCAA Era, Tyree's teams are 22-8 in the postseason and 17-2 in G-MAC Tournament play.Â

The Trevecca softball team completed its 26th season and 17th consecutive winning season and are now 777-488-2 all-time. In conference play the Trojans are 312-188 all-time.Â
