GM 1 –  MU scored the first run in the game in the top of the first for a 1-0 lead … Trevecca answered in the bottom frame with two of their own, Michael Brown hit a double down the left field line scoring Carter Wiseman and Griffin Ganick … MU scored one in the third and the fourth before icing the win with three in the seventh

GM 2 –  TNU scored five in the bottom of the second, Michael Brown scored on a passed ball for the Trojans, Ethan Harrison singled through the left side scoring Chandler Miller, and Ethan Hurt for a 3-0 Trojan lead, Bryson Shelton singled up the middle scoring Sam Mang, Ethan Harrison later scored on a wild pitch for a 5-0 Trevecca lead … Malone scored two in the fourth, four in the fifth, and three in the sixth to go up 9-5 … Carter Wiseman singled through the right side in the bottom of the sixth to score Patrick Reed to make the score 9-6 in favor of MU … MU ended the game with nine unanswered runs for an 18-6 win ... nine of Malone's 18 runs were unearned

LMU is where TNU head coach served as an assistant coach prior to taking the top job at Trevecca. The Trojans are 2-2 against LMU lifetime. Trevecca will go to Phillippi, WV to take on Alderson Broaddus University (19-16, 9-7 G-MAC) on Friday, April 21, in a conference weekend series.
