NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team won two Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) games on Friday against Malone University. In doing so, the Trojans moved to 12-2 in G-MAC play and are now three games ahead of second place Alderson Broaddus University, the Battlers are 9-5 in G-MAC play.

GM 1 –  Bryson Shelton reached on a fielder's choice in the first and Ethan Harrison scored on a throwing error to give Trevecca a 1-0 lead … the Pioneers scored one in the fourth and one in the fifth for a 2-1 lead … Tyler Burns singled to second on a bunt scoring Ethan Hurt in the fifth to tie the game 2-2 … Griffin Ganick singled to right scoring Patrick Reed and Burns for a 4-2 lead … Reed homered to left in the seventh and Shelton reached on an error and Ganick scored on another error during the play for the 6-2 TNU win

GM 2 –  MU scored in the top of the first for a 1-0 lead … TNU answered in their half on a Bryson Shelton doubled down the right field line, scoring Ethan Harrison for a 1-1 tie after one inning of play … Tyler Burns hit a home run down the left field line in the fourth for a 2-1 TNU lead … Malone tied it 2-2 in the top of the sixth … TNU got the win in walk-off fashion as Sam Mang hit a sac fly to center to bring home Joshua Becnel for the winning run
