GAME CHRONICLE

With TNU leading 9-7, D&E went on a 7-0 run from 15:14 left in the first half to 12:56 left in the first half to put D&E up 14-9

The Trojans went on an 8-0 run from 10:48 to 9:36 in the first half to give them a 23-19 lead

D&E regained the lead at 26-23 (6:52) following a 7-0 run  

D&E led 37-35 with 3:13 left in the half, but TNU closed the half on a 7-2 run for a 42-39 lead at the half

Trevecca led 48-46 (16:21), but D&E started their game-changing run outscoring the Trojans 11-0 for a 57-48 edge with 14:30 left

Trevecca cut the Senator lead to seven (66-59) with 10:40 left, but the home team put the game away with a 12-1 run for a 18-point (78-60) lead with 7:20 left

D&E outscored Trevecca 51-31 in the second half and won the game 90-73

Jacob Williams led TNU with 17 points and added four rebounds, one assist, and four steals

Percy Blade had a double-double scoring 14 points with 10 rebounds and just missed a triple-double with a team high seven assists

Devin Whitfield had 11 points and six assists

WHAT'S NEXT   

Trevecca plays at Alderson Broaddus University (11-12, 6-3 G-MAC) on Feb. 11 at 3 PM. The Trojans are 1-8 all-time versus the Battlers. ABU beat TNU 76-61 on Jan. 19th at the Fieldhouse.

The Trojans next home game is Thursday, February 16th at 8 PM when Ohio Valley University (1-19, 1-8 G-MAC) comes to visit. TNU is 7-1 versus the Scots, winning 81-52 at OVU on Jan. 7th.  

The final two home games are Feb. 18 at 4 PM versus Cedarville University (11-12, 3-5 G-MAC) and then Feb. 25 at 4 PM versus Kentucky Wesleyan College (21-2, 8-0 G-MAC). TNU is 6-7 all-time versus the Yellow Jackets and are on a four game win streak in the series. Against KWC, the Trojans are now 2-7 versus the Panthers.

Trevecca will play a non-conference exhibition at NCAA Division 1 Belmont University on Feb. 21st at 7 PM.
