For the second night in a row the Trojans opponent jumped out to a quick start, the Saints scored the first seven points of the game and never trailed. Another Maryville run, an 11-1 run, gave the Saints a 16-point (25-9) lead with 8:50 left in the half. Trevecca cut the Maryville lead to 10 (28-18) with 6:05 left in the half, but a 12-2 Saint run put the home team a 20-point lead (40-20) with 2:58 left. Trevecca scored seven straight to close the half, and the Saints led 40-27 and the break.

The Saints rebuilt the lead to as much as 17 again early in the second half. Trevecca cut the lead to 11 (49-38) with 15:32 left in the game but were not able to close the gap any closer the rest of the game. The Saints led by as many as 25 (84-59) with 2:45 left and settled for a 20 point (86-66) win.
