NASHVILLE, TN - The Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (4-18, 1-11 G-MAC) lost a Great Midwest Athletic Conference game in three sets (15-25, 20-25, 20-25) to Lake Erie College (19-7, 9-3 G-MAC) on Saturday in Trojan Fieldhouse.

The Trojans and Storm would rally back and forth in the early going of set number one, producing six ties before the Storm pulled away to win 25-15 ... the Storm jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in set two, but the Trojans cut the Storm lead to one (13-12) before falling in set two, 25-20 ... the Trojans ended the match on a 6-3 run before dropping the final set 25-20.

TOP TROJANS

Madison Clements led the way for the Trojans with a hitting percentage of .200% (10 K, 5 E, 25  TA) … her 10 kills were a team high ...  Macee Bingham led the team with 14 digs while Miranda Bingham added 10 assists … Six Trojans had at least two kills as the team combined for a total of 24

As a team, the Trojans hit .000% (24 K, 24 E, 106 TA) … Lake Erie hit .225% (42 K, 17 E, 111 TA) ... Trevecca is now 0-1 all-time versus the Storm  

WHAT'S NEXT 

Trevecca goes on the road for a non-conference match vs. Southern Indiana (8-14, 2-8 GLVC) at the Physical Activities Center in Evansville, IN on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 6:00 PM. It will be the fourth meeting between the two teams in the NCAA era. The Trojans are 1-2 versus the Screaming Eagles winning their last game last year in three sets.
