NASHVILLE, TN - The Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (4-17, 1-11 G-MAC) lost a Great – Midwest Athletic Conference game in four sets (25-20, 23-25, 21-25, 17-25) to Ursuline (7-15, 2-9 G-MAC) on Friday in Trojan Fieldhouse.

GAME CHRONICLE  

Trevecca 1, Ursuline 3

Trevecca started set one on a 4-0 run … UC kept pace with TNU and trailed 14-12, when TNU used another 4-0 run for a 18-12 edge … the Trojans closed out the set on a 4-1 run (25-20) … in set two a 5-0 run by the Arrows put them ahead 7-3 … trailing 20-24, Trevecca scored three straight, but lost 23-25 … the Arrows jumped to an 8-3 lead on the Trojans at the beginning of set three, a 4-0 TNU run tied the game 13-13, but the Arrows won the set 25-21 … set four started with a 5-0 Arrow spurt … Trevecca closed to 19-16, but a 6-1 UC run gave them the set and match 25-17

TOP TROJANS

Madison Clements led the way for the Trojans with a hitting percentage of .312% ( 12 K,  2 E,  32 TA) … her 12 kills were a team high ...  Gracie Pierce led the team with 19 digs while Macee Bingham added 16 assists … eight Trojans had at least two kills as the team combined for a total of 39.

TROJAN TEAM TRENDS

As a team, the Trojans hit .083% (39 K,  27 E, 144 TA) … Ursuline hit .193% ( 49 K, 22 E, 140 TA) ... Trevecca is now 6-5 all-time in the NCAA era versus the Arrows in volleyball 

WHAT'S NEXT 

Trevecca stays home for a conference match vs. Lake Erie College (18-7, 8-3 G-MAC) at Trojan Fieldhouse on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 6:00 PM. It is the first meeting between the two teams in the NCAA era.
