NASHVILLE, TN - The Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (4-16, 1-9 G-MAC) lost a non-conference game in four sets (16-25, 27-25, 13-25, 16-25) to Christian Brothers University (10-11, 4-4 GSC) on Tuesday in Trojan Fieldhouse.

The Buccaneers made a statement in set one, closing it out 25-16. The Trojans jumped out to a quick 5-1 set two lead. The Buccaneers tied it at 12-12. After trading leads, the Trojans regained control and tied the set 25-25. Kills from Jordan Sprinkle (JR/Leopold, IN) and Macee Bingham (FR/Safford, AZ) finished off the Buccaneers in set two. The Trojans took the first point in both sets three and four but were unable to stop Christian Brothers.

Madison Clements (FR/Goshen, KY) led the way for the Trojans with a hitting percentage of .500% (16 K, 2 E, 28 TA) … her 16 kills were a team high ... Danielle Moll (SR/Gilbert, AZ) led the team with 16 digs while Macee Bingham added 19 assists … Six Trojans had at least two kills as the team combined for a total of 38.

As a team, the Trojans hit .086% (38 K, 26 E, 140 TA) … Christian Brothers hit .231% (50 K, 19 E, 134 TA) ... Trevecca is now 1-3 all-time in the NCAA era versus the Buccaneers in volleyball 

WHAT'S NEXT 

Trevecca stays home for a conference match vs. Ursuline College (5-15, 1-9 G-MAC) at Trojan Fieldhouse on Friday, Oct. 20 at 6:00 PM. It is the 11th meeting between the two teams in the NCAA era. Trevecca owns a 6-4 advantage in the series, but the Arrows won the last meeting in four sets.
