NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Trevecca Nazarene University men's basketball team lost an overtime battle in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference play, 78-74, to visiting Davis & Elkins College at the Trojan Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.

TNU led 14-9 with 14:00 left in the half following a 12-4 Trojan run

TNU led 24-18 with 10:53 left in the first half, but D&E rolled off a 19-3 run to take a 10-point (37-27) lead with 3:37 left in the half

The Senators held their largest lead of the half (11 points, 40-29) with 2:24 left, but Trevecca cut it to six (44-38) at the break

The 9-4 TNU run to close the half extended to a 7-3 run to start the second half and saw the Trojans down just one (47-46) with 17:06 left

TNU tied the game at 52-52 with 12:27, and took the lead again (57-56) with 6:19 left

D&E rebuilt a lead of five (65-60) with 3:05 left, but TNU closed the half with a 9-4 run to tie it at 69-69 at the end of regulation

Both teams led early in overtime, but D&E gained the lead for good at 73-72 with 3:12 left

Cameron Paulding (FR/Columbus, GA) had 10 points and blocked five Senator shots
