Box Score 2 CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University softball team (25-13, 9-1 G-MAC) defeated Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) foe Cedarville University (14-20, 5-5 G-MAC) 2-0 and 5-0 in a Friday double-header at Lady Jacket Field.ÂÂ

The Purple and White are on a five game winning streak and are 14-1 over their last 15 games. Trevecca is 17-1 versus Cedarville all-time and have won the last seven in the series.

Trevecca hosts Kentucky Wesleyan College on Tuesday. The Trojans are 10-7 versus the Panthers all-time and are on a four game winning streak in the series. TNU is 6-1 over the seven versus KWC. The Panthers are 9-17 overall and 4-2 in the G-MAC, it will be an important match-up that will go a long way to determining who is the regular season champions and top-seed in the G-MAC Championships.ÂÂ

GAME ONE: RECAP
Haley Fagan pitched a complete-game no-hitter against the Yellow Jackets. Fagan allowed just three walks with 11 strikeouts in the seven-inning performance.ÂÂ

Trevecca scored a run in the first and added a run in the seventh.

In the first inning Ansley Brantley led off the game drawing a walk and then stole second. Tana Whited drove her in with a double.

In the seventh Brantley walked with one out and Whited doubled again to score Brantley.

Tana Whited was 3-4 with two RBI and a double. Ansley Brantley was 1-2 with two runs scored, two walks, and three stolen bases. Kat Burbrink was 2-3.

The Trojans had seven hits in the game and left seven on while the Yellow Jackets left three on base.

GAME ONE: RECAP
Haley Fagan started and got the win to improve to 18-9 on the year. Over the two games she pitched 13 innings and allowed just one hit and walked five with 16 strikeouts. In game two she pitched six innings with a hit and two walks with five strikeouts. Morgan Powell pitched the seventh inning to close out the game.

Ansley Brantley went 2-3 with a home run, hit-by-pitch, stolen base, two runs scored, and two RBI. Tana Whited was 1-4 with a run scored. Alex Richardson was 3-4 with a double, run scored and two RBI.
