Box Score 2 CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene University softball team (27-13, 11-1 G-MAC) earned another double-header shutout win at Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) opponent Cedarville University (14-22, 5-7 G-MAC) 3-0 in game one and 4-0 in game two on Saturday's double-header at Lady Jacket Field.Â

Over the weekend Trevecca pitcher Haley Fagan (SR/Cornersville, Tenn.) produced a 4-0 record with three complete game shutouts and had 40 strikeouts while allowing six hits over 27 innings and allowed seven walks.

Today she had produced 24 strikeouts and two complete game shutouts. Fagan allowed five hits over 14 innings today two walks.

The Purple and White are on a seven game winning streak and are 16-1 over their last 17 games. Trevecca is 19-1 versus Cedarville all-time and have won the last eight in the series.

Trevecca hosts Kentucky Wesleyan College on Tuesday. The Trojans are 10-7 versus the Panthers all-time and are on a four game winning streak in the series. TNU is 6-1 over the seven versus KWC. The Panthers are 9-17 overall and 4-2 in the G-MAC, it will be an important match-up that will go a long way to determining who is the regular season champions and top-seed in the G-MAC Championships.

GAME ONE: RECAP
Haley Fagan improved to 19-9 with the four-hit performance with two walks and 11 strikeouts.
Trevecca scored two in the second and one in the sixth.

In the second Hudgins led off with a home run and with two out Burbrink singled and advanced to second After moving to third, Tana Whited (FR/Lebanon, TN) singled to drive in Burbrink.

Mary Collins (FR/Collierville, TN) led off the sixth with a single and Kelsey Craighead came on to pinch run. A Jordan Griner (SR/Mulberry, Tenn.) bunt moved Craighead to second and a wild pitch placed her on third. Kat Burbrink (SO/Hamilton, Ohio) bunted to score Craighead.

The offense was provided by Kat Burbrink who was 2-2 with a run scored and an RBI. Caitlyn Hudgins (FR/Springfield, TN) hit a home run with an run scored and an RBI. Ansley Brantley (SR/Kite, Ga.) went 0-1 at the plate, but walked three times and had a stolen base.

GAME ONE: RECAP
Ansley Brantley was 1-3 with a run scored and two RBI while eight different Trojans collected at least one hit. Kat Burbrink (2-3) and Kaitlin Crumpler (JR/Smyrna, Tenn.) (2-3) both produced multi-hit games. Brantley and Shelby Andrews (SR/Dyersburg, Tenn.) both connected for home runs. Burbrink had a double.

Haley Fagan pitched another shutout, her third of the series. Fagan is now 20-9 and pitched a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts.
