TNU added two more in the third inning with a home run off the bat of Alex Richardson (JR/Ten Mile, Tenn.). The hit also drove in Whited who doubled prior.

Two-out action in the fourth started with G-MAC player of the week, Jordan Griner (SR/Mulberry, Tenn.) drawing the walk. Kaitlyn Crumpler followed with a double and Brantley followed suit to send both Trojans in, 5-0.

Haley Fagan (SR/Cornersville, Tenn.) (23-10) pitched a complete game for her seventh shutout of the season. She marked six strikeouts, walked three and let three hits in 23 batters faced.

In the fifth inning it was Whited who did the damage again when she connected for a single and scored on a Shelby Andrews (SR/Dyersburg, Tenn.) double. Hudgins hit a single to drive in Andrews, 4-1.

Brantley led off the seventh with a single and went on to steal second, her signature move. She advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on an error at short to plate the final run of the game, 5-1.
