Trevecca won its first two games on Thursday, defeating Salem International University in the morning and then eliminating Kentucky Wesleyan College in the afternoon. Trevecca advanced to Saturday's championship round with an extra-inning win over Davis & Elkins College.
Trevecca now awaits word on a possible at large bid to the NCAA regional round. It would be the first time for a Trevecca team to advance based on a set criteria or voting. The cross country teams represented Trevecca at their regionals in the fall, but all teams qualified for regionals. ÂÂ
The 2015 G-MAC Championships were held at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex in Xenia, Ohio.
