Box Score XENIA, Ohio - In game five of the 2015 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Softball Championship tournament, #1 seed Trevecca Nazarene University (36-8) eliminated #3 Kentucky Wesleyan College (25-15), the only conference team the Trojans lost to in the regular season, with a 4-0 win.

Haley Fagan (JR/Cornersville, Tenn.), all-conference pitcher of the year, pitched a complete game with six strikeouts to mark her 19th win and 10th shutout to lead the Trojan defense. She now has a 1.09 ERA.

Casey Smith took the loss (11-6) having pitched six innings. Jessica Carmon came in to pitch the final inning for the Panthers.

Kelsey Kemp (SR/Lawrenceburg, Tenn.) started it all off with a double. Alex Richardson (SO/Ten Mile, Tenn.) took first on a hit-by-pitch. Haley Fagan followed with a single to load the bases. Danielle Tyson (FR/Smithville, Tenn.) became the second Trojand to reach on a hit-by-pitch, which forced Kemp in from third for the first run of the game. Tyson and Fagan both advanced on a wild pitch while Richardson made her way in to score the second run. Bailey Alexander (FR/Glasgow, Ky.) connected for a triple to clear the bases and push the Trevecca lead to 4-0.

Both teams had a double play. Trevecca had seven hits to Kentucky Wesleyan's five. TNU commited the only error of the game.
