Trevecca will play their final four regular season games at Great Midwest Athletic Conference opponent Alderson Broaddus University (29-13, 19-3 G-MAC). The Battlers trail the Trojans by just two games in the loss column. The four-game series will determine the 2015 G-MAC regular season champions and who will be the top seed at next week's G-MAC Tournament. Both Friday and Saturday double headers will begin at Noon (Central).

Trevecca holds a 5-0 advantage in the series. ABU has been hot of late, winning 11 of their last 14 games.

The game was essentially decided in the fifth inning when Eagle catcher Greg Jones connected to send a Austin Sisk (JR/Kodak, Tenn. ) pitch over the right field wall for a two-run home run. The visitors added a run in the seventh and another in the ninth for a 4-0 win.

Trevecca left nine runners on base and had another erased on a stolen base attempt. Trevecca picked up six hits and drew two walks off of Eagles starter Vince Apicella (7-5) who pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts. The Eagles totaled nine hits off of five different Trojan pitchers.

It was the final game of the year for Carson Newman, the Eagles have already played their conference tournament and will not advance to the regional level.

Bryson Shelton (SO/Powell, Tenn. ), who is coming off of a week in which he earned the G-MAC Player of the Week honors, continued hitting with a 3-for-4 game. He had Trevecca's only extra base hit when he connected for his 13th double of the year.

Sisk (5-1) took the loss after pitching the fifth and sixth innings. Sisk allowed the runs on two hits and a walk while striking out two. Ryan Arington (SO/Cincinnati, Ohio) started and pitched three innings of one-hit ball with one strikeout.
