Box Score HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Trevecca Nazarene University baseball team (9-10) lost on the road at NCAA Division II No. 4 University of Alabama Huntsville (16-2-1) 15-7 on Wednesday at Charger Park.

UAH scored a run in the bottom of the first and two in the bottom of the second for a 3-0 lead after two. Trevecca scored a single run in the third and fourth, cutting the Chargers lead to 3-2 heading into the bottom of the fourth. The Chargers took control of the game with a four-run fourth and a two-run fifth and led 9-2 after five. Trevecca put three on the board in their half of the seventh and trailed 9-5 until a six-run eighth by UAH put the home team up 15-5. Trevecca plated two runs in the ninth for a 15-7 final.

Mac Barnes (FR/Arlington, Tenn.) (0-1) took the loss for Trevecca, going the first three innings and giving up five hits, three runs - all earned, and a walk. Wilson Adams (1-0) was the winner for the Chargers after pitching the fifth and sixth innings and allowed three hits and a walk.

Trevecca had five players with two hits, they were - Tyler Tichenor (JR/Centertown, Ky) who was 2-5 with a run scored and stolen base (7); Hunter Newman (JR/Chapmansboro, Tenn.) who was 2-3 with three runs scored, two walks, an RBI, and a home run (8); Bryson Shelton (SO/Powell, Tenn. ) was 2-4 with an RBI; Zach Tompkins (JR/Mt. Juliet, Tenn.) hit 2-5 with a double (1) and RBI; Ethan Hurt (SO/Pegram, Tenn.) who was 2-5 with a RBI and a stolen base (7). Chad Sutton (FR/Independence, Mo.) added a triple (2).
