NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca baseball team (9-9) pushed through the rain to get in one more double header with Hillsdale College (4-10). They added a win with game one, 11-1 and took the loss in game two, 4-5.

The Trojans head to Huntsville, Ala. on Wednesday, March 18 to play a single game against University of Alabama-Huntsville (14-1-1, 10-1-1 GSC).

GAME ONE
Trevecca got the game started with a run in the third inning and combined in the fourth and sixth for 10. Hillsdale scored their only run in the fourth inning to leave TNU on top, 11-1.

The first run was Cameron Boyett (JR/Rockvale, Tenn.) who hit a single, advanced on a Patrick Reed (SO/Murfreesboro, Tenn.) single and a double from Tyler Tichenor (JR/Centertown, Ky) drove Boyett in.

Ethan Wiskur led it off for the Chargers with a single, advanced on a walk and a balk and came home off of a Joe Gentile single to tie the game, 1-1.

Ethan Hurt (SO/Pegram, Tenn.) started the fourth off with a double, advanced to third on a wild pitch and came in on a Ryan Arington (SO/Cincinnati, Ohio) single.

Chad Sutton (FR/Independence, Mo.) got a free pass but made it count by stealing second.

Tichenor connected for a triple to drive Sutton in along with Ben Chally (FR/Geneva, Ill.) who walked prior, then took home on an error by the pitcher.

Two triples, a double and a single earned TNU five more in the sixth. Boyett stole home. Newman, Arington, Shleton and Hurt all scored. Arington had a stolen basae as well.

Will Kruse pitched four innings for HC and took the loss (0-1) while Bryan Smith (SO/Unionville, Tenn) added a win to his record (1-1) by pitching six innings with eight strikeouts, one walk and letting one run on five hits.

Tyler Tichenor as two-for-four with four RBI and one run. Cameron Boyett was two-for-three with two RBI, two runs and a stolen base. Chad Sutton was also two-for-three with an RBI, a run and a stolen base.

GAME TWO
Hillsdale scored all five of their runs in the second inning with six hits and one Trevecca error, 5-0.

The Trojans added four runs in the last three innings and the Chargers maintained their lead to win, 5-4.

Carter Wiseman (FR/Hendersonville, Tenn.) scored the first run for TNU in the fifth inning, 1-5. He executed a bunt to third, advanced on a Ryan Arington Single and came home on an error by the shortstop.

Carter Wiseman doubled that in the sixth for the Trojans, 3-5, connecting for a double to drive in Sutton and Austin Moyer (SO/Goodlettsville, TN). Sutton walked ahead of the hit and Moyer hit a single.

Bryson Shelton (SO/Powell, Tenn. ) hit a single and scored on a Sutton double to earn the last TNU run.

Jarred Jones (FR/Nicholasville, Ky.) pitched 1.2 innings to take the loss (0-2) while Phil Carey took the win for Hillsdale (1-0).

Carter Wiseman was two-for-three with 2 RBI and one run.
