NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Trevecca volleyball team (13-11, 3-3 G-MAC) swept Ursuline College (7-21, 3-6 G-MAC) 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-19) at the Trojan Fieldhouse on Saturday in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference match.

Trevecca hosts Kentucky Wesleyan College (7-16, 1-5 G-MAC) on Wednesday at 6PM. The Panthers lead the series with the Trojans 6-2 and have won the last six in the series.

Senior night for the Trojans five seniors is scheduled for Friday at 6PM when they host Ohio Valley University (10-17, 3-2 G-MAC). The final home match is scheduled for Noon on Saturday, as the Trojan Fieldhouse will host three consecutive Trojan athletic events for Homecoming. The Trojans will face Salem International University (5-18, 0-5 G-MAC). Trevecca is 1-2 all-time versus OVU and 1-0 versus Salem all-time.

Trevecca his 5-3 all-time versus Ursuline and take the regular season series with the Arrows, 2-0.

Clare Taylor led the Purple and White with their only double-double with 10 kills and 14 digs. The standout freshman had a .471 attack percentage. Katelyn Atkinson (JR/Hermitage, TN) had nine kills and four blocks and a service ace. Atkinson hit for .304. Stephanie Bouchard (SO/Chattanooga, TN) also have a big night with nine kills, five digs, and a .500 attack percentage. Delaney Hearn had five kills and a .375 attack percentage. Loren Bennett (SR/Ooltewah, TN) chipped in 35 assists and three blocks.

 AS a team Trevecca had a .423 attack percentage in the first set and .333 in the second. Trevecca led the entire way in the first set. There were only three ties in the entire match and Ursuline only led once, that was in the second set when they started with a 3-1 lead. Trevecca tied it at 3-3. The set was tied again at 4-4 and the Trojans led the rest of the way.

Coach Jayme Crowley, 24 matches into her eighth season at Trevecca, has a 152-115 overall record. Her overall conference record is 55-39 and she is 20-19 in G-MAC contests.

Through 24 matches this season Trevecca volleyball is 607-782 overall and have a 166-184 conference mark.
