PHILIPPI, W.Va. - The Trevecca volleyball team (9-8, 1-2 G-MAC) lost on the road in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference tilt at Alderson Broaddus University (8-12, 3-1 G-MAC) on Friday.

The Trojans will visit Davis & Elkins (2-12, 0-3 G-MAC) on Saturday in Elkins, W.Va. at Noon. Trevecca holds a 3-0 record all-time against the Senators.  

Trevecca and ABU are tied 2-2 all-time in the series. The Battlers win breaks a two game win streak in the series for the Trojans. The Trojans had won five of their last six coming into Friday's match.

Katelyn Atkinson (JR/Hermitage, TN) led the Trojan effort with 14 kills and 18 digs. Zakia Jackson (SR/Hermitage, TN) had 12 kills and a team-leading .156 attack percentage. Jackson added nine digs and a team-best three blocks. Loren Bennett (SR/Ooltewah, TN) and Allison Moe had double figures in digs with 25 and 16 respectively. Bennett, who had the most digs, also led the team with 37 assists. Alex Reuter (FR/Brentwood, TN) added nine kills. 

The team mounted an uncharacteristically high number of attack errors and just a .060 attack percentage with 46 team kills against 34 team attack errors in 199 attacks. Trevecca added six service errors.
