Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Trevecca Nazarene University (19-8) knocked off Ursuline College (14-14) 79-69 Friday night to advance to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Championship. It's the second consecutive season the Trojans will play for the conference crown.

The Trojans, winners in 13 of their last 14 games, will host Kentucky Wesleyan College (20-8) at 2:00 p.m.Saturday in the 2014 G-MAC Championship game. The Panthers and Trojans have a tight, albeit short, series. Trevecca holds the edge 3-1, but each game has been decided by four points or less. The four-point margin was an overtime win by the Panthers in Owensboro, Ky. The two meetings this year were Trevecca wins (65-62 @TNU, 61-60 @KWC). The Panthers advanced to the championship game with a 99-95 win over Cedarville University in Friday's second semifinal.

In the first half, Trevecca jumped out to an 11-5 lead after a Kaci Britt Bell three-pointer with 15:49 remaining. That would be the biggest lead of the half for the Trojans.

The Arrows got their first lead (19-18) after a fastbreak layup from Brianna Woods with about 8:30 minutes left in the half.

After a Paige Baugher three-ball tied the game at 22 with 7:22 left, Ursuline went on a 15-5 run to take its biggest lead of the first half, 37-27. Jenny Grigsby tallied eight points during the stretch. UC took a 37-31 lead into the break.

In the second half, UC would maintain its lead until an 11-4 Trojan run tied the game at 48 with 12 minutes to go.

Trevecca hit eight free throws and got a jumper from Anna Mitchell over a 4:45 span to tie the game.

That rally would spark the Trojans to victory.

Over the next six minutes and change, TNU would out-score UC 20-10 and took its first double-digit lead of the game 68-58 after a Haley Felker three-pointer.

Trevecca would go up as many as 12 points in the final five minutes. Ursuline would not get within seven points the rest of the way.

Bell led the Trojans with 13 points while Sarah Raby tallied 12 points and six rebounds. Christina Curtner totaled a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 13 rebounds along with six assists for TNU. Coming off the bench Helen Mitchner chipped in with 10 points while Baugher and Marissa Jennings each tallied nine.
