Box Score CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team's season came to an end Thursday night with a straight-set loss to Kentucky Wesleyan College (16-12) in the quarterfinals of the Great Midwest Conference Volleyball Championships. The 16-25, 16-25, 21-25 loss ends the Trojans' season with a record of 15-15, while the Panthers advance to the G-MAC semifinals and a matchup with top-seeded Cedarville (18-13) Friday at 5:30 p.m.

Trevecca's offense struggled throughout the match, finishing with nearly as many attack errors as kills. The Trojans totaled 26 kills in 113 attempts, but 20 attack errors resulted in a hitting percentage of just .053. Kentucky Wesleyan, onÂÂ
the other hand, was much more efficient on the attack, posting 46 kills in 116 attempts with just 16 errors, good for a .259 hitting percentage.

Katelyn Atkinson (SO/Hermitage, Tenn.), who earlier in the day was named First Team All-Conference, led the way for Trevecca with seven kills, and added eight digs and three block assists.
Delaney Hearne (JR/San Marcos, Tex.) added six kills,
Zakia Jackson (JR/Hermitage, Tenn.) tallied four, and
Stephanie Bouchard (FR/Chattanooga, Tenn.) and
Cara Trunnell (SR/Jasper, Ala.) added three apiece.
Loren Bennett (JR/Ooltewah, Tenn.) dished out 22 assists for the Trojans, and added 10 digs and one kill.ÂÂ

Summer Alford led a balanced Panther attack with 10 kills. Nikki Jenkins and Dallas Zimmerman added nine kills apiece, while Chelsea Brothers and Rae Garvison each contributed eight.ÂÂ
