Box Score OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Trevecca Nazarene University volleyball team (14-12, 5-3 G-MAC) fell in straight sets Wednesday night at Kentucky Wesleyan College (12-11, 5-3 G-MAC), 21-25, 22-25, 25-27. The win, coupled with Kentucky Wesleyan's four-set win in Nashville on October 7, gives the Panthers a season sweep of the Trojans.

The Trojans will play the fourth of five consecutive games on the road Friday night at 6 p.m. at Ohio Valley University (19-9, 6-2 G-MAC), before wrapping up the road trip Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Salem International (4-17, 1-7 G-MAC).

Katelyn Atkinson (SO/Hermitage, Tenn.) led the Trojan attack Wednesday night, posting 16 kills. But Trevecca's most efficient hitter was
Zakia Jackson (JR/Hermitage, Tenn.), who tallied 12 kills in 25 attempts with just one error, good for a .440 hitting percentage.
Loren Bennett (JR/Ooltewah, Tenn.) totaled 28 assists, and added six digs and two kills.
Kayleigh Jarrett (SO/Tehachapi, Calif.) and
Kirsten Taylor (SR/Murfreesboro, Tenn.) also had six digs apiece, while Atkinson and
Ashleigh Lozier (FR/Murfreesboro, Tenn.) added five apiece.

Summer Alford and Dallas Zimmerman led the Panthers with 11 kills apiece, while Nikki Jenkins added nine. Sarah Swenson posted 40 assists for KWC, while Hannah Hudnall led the way in digs with 12.

Kentucky Wesleyan totaled 46 kills in 109 attempts with 19 errors, for a .248 hitting percentage, while Trevecca finished at .192 with 36 kills in 99 attempts with 17 errors. The Panthers were also strong at the net defensively, totaling 15 blocks to just four for Trevecca.
