Gilland, a 5-10 forward from Madison, Tenn., played for some of Trevecca's best women's basketball teams, including the 2006 team that won a school record 31 games. Gilland, who starred at Nashville's Hunters Lane High School, was a two-time NAIA All-American third team selection (2006, 2005) and was voted to the 2005 NAIA National Championships All-tournament team. On the conference level she was a  TranSouth first team selection on two occasions, and made the TranSouth All-Tournament team in 2006 and the All-Freshman team in 2002.
ÂÂ
Gilland played three years for coach Julie van Beek before playing her final season for current Trojan coach, Gary Van Atta. Gilland sat out the 2003 season, but returned to complete her career in All-American style. She helped lead her team to an average of 23.25 wins per season and 10 wins each year in conference play. She also helped lead the program to the NAIA Elite Eight for the first time in 2005, and the team repeated that feat in 2006. She showed her athletic versatility by playing with the Trojan softball team her senior year, a team that advanced to the NAIA Championships as well.ÂÂ
ÂÂ
Brown, a 5-10 left-handed pitcher from Dickson, Tenn., earned NAIA second team All-American honors after leading the NAIA in wins with a 16-1 record in 2007. The Dickson High School product holds the Trevecca record for wins in a season with 16 and finished his career with the third most career wins. His 16 wins helped pace the Trojans to a 44-18-1 record overall and a TranSouth best 21-6 record. The team was ranked No. 4 during the season, which is the highest ranking in program history. In 2007 Brown, who is now the pitching coach for the Trojans, was also selected to the NAIA All-Region XI team, All-TranSouth team, and the TranSouth scholar-athlete team.
ÂÂ
Brown played for Jeff Forehand and helped the team to some of the programs best days. As a senior Brown played for Chris Collins, also a fellow Trojan All-American. The Trojans won at least 40 games al four years of his career. His teams combined for a 176-72-2 overall record and 57-22 in TranSouth conference play. The 176 wins are the most in any four-year span in program history. Brown was a part of two regular season TranSouth championships, a TranSouth conference tournament championship, and the first-ever team to advance to an NAIA region tournament.ÂÂ
