WILBERFORCE, Ohio – The Trevecca Nazarene (16-14, 6-8 G-MAC) swept Central State University (0-18, 0-13 G-MAC) 3-0 (25-2, 25-3, 25-9) on Saturday. Trevecca now leads the all-time series 4-0. With the win Trevecca secures the fifth seed in the upcoming G-MAC Championships. The victory secures a winning season for the Trojans.

Delaney Hearne led the way with seven aces and three kills on just four total attacks. Loren Bennett added three aces, 11 assists, and three kills. Katelyn Atkinson, the two-time Tennessee Sports Writer Association Player of the Week, added a team-high eight kills as well as three block and three aces. Kristen Johnson had seven assists and three kills. Persephonie Devereaux provided four kills and two blocks.

Next, the eight-team single-elimination Great Midwest Athletic Conference championships at Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Ky. The championships are scheduled for November 21-23, 2013. The tournament will be held at the Woodward Health and Recreation Center.

Trevecca, the #5 seed, will play #4 seed Ursuline College (19-16, 7-7 G-MAC) at 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 21. The all-time series stands at 2-2 between TNU and UC, but the Arrows have won both meetings 3-0 this season.
