The Trojans blanked the Toppers 7-0 in game one, and held on for a 2-1 victory in game two.

Game One

Baker (9-3) pitched the first five innings, allowing three hits while striking out four and walking one. Papini struck out four batters and walked just one in holding the Toppers hitless over the final two innings. Blue Mountain's Halley Beckham (8-6) took the loss, giving up seven runs on six hits in 4.2 innings.

Trevecca broke a scoreless tie in the second inning, scoring three runs on a fielder's choice, a groundout, and a passed ball. The Trojans then put the game out of reach with four more runs in the fifth on a pair of wild pitches and RBI singles by Breanna Zeis and Nicole Davis.

Davis drove in a pair of runs on a single and a fielder's choice, while Baker and Zeis had two hits apiece.

Game Two

Riley Mashburn (6-5) scattered six hits over seven innings to pick up the complete game victory. The senior righthander allowed just one run while striking out seven with just one walk. Brooke Denton (5-10) started and took the loss for the Toppers, allowing two runs on four hits in four innings.

After Blue Mountain took the lead on an RBI single by centerfielder Kimmy Nicholson in the top of the second, the Trojans quickly tied it in the bottom of the inning on an infield single by Kelsey Kemp. Trevecca scored the eventual game-winning run in the third. Lauren Baker walked to lead off the inning and Heather Shuler sacrificed her to second. Breanna Zeis followed with a double to deep right-centerfield to drive in Baker with what proved to be the winning run.

Trevecca managed its two runs on just four hits and committed two errors, while stranding seven runners on base. Blue Mountain finished with a run on six hits and one error, with 10 runners stranded.
