PANAMA CITY, Fla. - The Trevecca softball team (6-7, 1-1 TranSouth) is competing in the NFCA Leadoff Classic at Frank Brown Park. In their opening game on Friday, the Trojans defeated previously unbeaten Lee University (13-1) 11-3 in six innings. Later, Trevecca shut out No. 19 Reinhardt University (7-6) 1-0.

Friday Game One

Both teams repeated the same totals in the fourth inning for a 6-2 Trevecca lead. Trevecca piled on with a third three-run inning in the fifth for a 9-2 scored. Lee scored one in the sixth, but Trevecca forced the run-rule into effect by scoring a pair of runs with two outs in the sixth.
