Box Score 2 NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Trevecca (12-8, 1-1 G-MAC) volleyball returned to the Trojan Fieldhouse after a 13-match road trip and didn't disappoint a great crowd as the ralied for a 23-25, 25-23, 28-26, 25-18 victory over Martin Methodist University (6-13) on Tuesday.
Kristen Johnson and Jenna Robertson led the way on the attack. Robertson had 12 kills with a .348 attack percentage. Johnson had 17 kills and a .303 attack percentage. Caroline Gay led the team with 30 assists while Johnson added 21. Loren Bennett added 12 digs and Johnson completed her triple double with 10 digs. Johnson also had three block assists and two service aces. As a team Trevecca had a .246 attack percentage. The team had a .303 attack percentage in the third set with 17 kills.
Trevecca returns to the road for three G-MAC matches this weekend at Cedarville University. TNU will face Central State University (0-6, 0-1 G-MAC) on Friday at 7 p.m. Saturday TNU will face Cedarville (17-3, 2-0 G-MAC) at 10 a.m. and Ursuline College (2-18, 1-3 G-MAC) at Noon. The next home match will be on October 11 when the Trojans host Cumberland University at 6 p.m.
