Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Trojan (11-6) baseball team, receiving votes for the NAIA Top 25, split a double-header with NAIA No. 2 Lee University (15-5). The Trojans won the second game 2-0, while the Flames won the first game 9-1 at Jackson Field. The Flames are coached by former Trevecca baseball player and assistant coach Mark Brew.
Trevecca's game two shutout of Lee was the first Flames scoreless game since the 2009 season.

GAME ONE RECAP
Trevecca jumped out to a 1-0 lead on Lee when
Jordan Foreman reached on a single, advanced to second on a sacrifice by
Chad Reynolds, and scored when
Matt Tidwell reached on a misplayed grounder.
Lee took the lead with two runs in the fourth and added seven runs in the sixth. Lee scored nine runs on nine hits and had three errors. Trevecca had a run on three hits and one error. Trevecca left five runners on base and Lee left four.ÂÂ
Curtis Camilli (2-0) pitched a complete game for the Flames, allowing three hits with no walks and three strikeouts.
Caleb Longshore (1-2) took the loss as the starter for Trevecca. Longshore allowed eight runs on eight hits, with three walks and six strikeouts.
Seth Walker hit a three-run home run for the Flames.
GAME TWO RECAP
Trevecca scored the winning runs in the second inning when
Mitch McClay led off with a double to deep left field.
Luke Fennell moved McClay to third with a one-out ground out to first.
Matt Dobbins followed with an RBI single that scored McClay. Dobbins advanced to second on a wild pitch, then scored on a
Chase Birdwell single.
B.J. Boston (1-0) picked up the win in relief.
Dylan Kuhn started and pitched 2.1 innings of scoreless baseball. Boston pitched four innings and gave up two hits and allowed one walk while striking out seven.
Michael Son came on for the final two outs to pick up his first save of the year.
Trevecca scored two runs on eight hits, had one error, and left eight runners on base. Lee had two hits and left nine runners on base.
Matt Tidwell was 3-3 at the plate for Trevecca.
The Trojans will open conference play on Friday (March 4) when Martin Methodist (6-7) comes to Nashville for a single game at 2 p.m. The TranSouth foes will play a doubleheader on Saturday at Noon.
