Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - For the second time in a week, the Trojan volleyball team (3-4) went down in defeat at the hands of the Milligan College Lady Buffs (6-2), 14-25, 25-14, 20-25, and 22-25.

The Buffs won the first game easily, as did the Trojans in game two. Game three was a back and forth affair, before Milligan took control late and pulled away for the win. In game four, it looked like a runaway win for the Buffs, as they had leads of 21-9 and 24-15, before the Trojans scored seven straight points to make things interesting until Milligan ultimately clinched the win after a timeout.

Trevecca had a balanced attack, with Cassidy Watkins contributing 11 kills,  Maddie Burford adding 10, Persephonie Devereaux nine, and Kristen Johnson eight. Brooke Cannon had 31 assists to go along with 10 digs and four kills. Johnson also added 11 digs and four assists. Shelby Sorce added nine digs, Burford eight, and Devereaux, Watkins, and Haley White six apiece.

The Trojans are right back at it with a 1 p.m. match against Brescia University (0-3) at Moore Gym.
