Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trojan volleyball team (9-9, 1-3 TranSouth) dropped a five-set match to Cumberland (16-4, 3-0 TranSouth) 25-20, 25-23, 17-25, 21-25, 9-15 Tuesday night at Moore gym.

Trevecca took the first two sets and looked to be on their way to a big conference win, but Cumberland charged back to win three straight, winning the fifth and deciding set rather easily.

Cassidy Watkins had 16 kills and 14 digs, Maddie Burford had 12 kills, and Kristen Johnson had nine kills and 15 digs. Brooke Cannon had 50 assists in the match, along with 17 digs, and Haley White had 29 digs.

Trevecca travels to Batesville, Ark. Thursday for a TranSouth conference matchup

with Lyon College (7-11, 0-3 TranSouth) at 6 p.m.
