Box Score NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Trevecca Trojans (15-1, 6-3 TSAC),
currently receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25, defeated Blue Mountain
College (1-25, 1-9 TSAC) 101-75 Saturday afternoon at Moore Gym.
Trevecca has defeated Blue Mountain all six times in the series.
The Trojans led 48-40 at the half, but started the second half on
fire, outscoring the Toppers 19-6 over the first several minutes to
extend their lead to 67-46.
Michael France paced five Trojans in double
figures with 24 points,
Jeremy Dixon added 16,
Matthew Elliott and
Camden both added 14, and
Keith Morris chipped in with 12. J.P. Nyadaro
and Morris each grabbed seven rebounds, while France and Dixon each
had six. Lakendrick McCullum led
Blue Mountain with 21 points and 17 rebounds.
For the game, Trevecca shot 54% (37-68), including 9-22 (41%) from
3-point range, while the Toppers only managed to shoot 36% (25-70)
overall, and only 25% (8-32) from 3-point range.ÂÂ
The Trojans return to action Monday night at Moore Gym vs. Martin
Methodist (15-7, 3-5 TSAC). Game time is 8 p.m.
