COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Trevecca played a pair of exhibition games with Columbia State on Saturday.
In the first game the Trojans outhit the Chargers 10-7 while scoring in every inning except the first and third. The Trojans won 8-1.
Lauren Baker went the distance for Trevecca and picked up the win. The Trojans bombed four homers with
Monica West,
Breanna Zeis,
Megan Hemmingsen and
Kelsey Lantrip clearing the fence.
In the second game Trevecca outhit Columbia State 13-7 for an 8-3 win. Baker collected three of the hits in support TNU pitcher
Riley Mashburn, who had five strikeouts in the win.
Karli Rush, Lantrip and Mashburn had two hits apiece while Zeis and West provided 2-run doubles.
Trevecca will visit NCAA D2 North Alabama on Tuesday.
