Box Score HENDERSON, Tenn. - The Trojan volleyball team (17-21) saw its season come to an end Tuesday evening with a 3-2 (18-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-21, 8-15) loss to Cumberland (24-12) in the 2010 TranSouth Championships. The loss was the Trojans' fourth of the season at the hands of the Bulldogs.
Cassidy Watkins had 19 kills and nine digs for the Trojans.
Maddie Burford added 13 kills and eight digs, and
Brittany Eller chipped in with 12 kills.
Haley White had 28 digs and
Shelby Sorce added 19. In the final match of her outstanding career, senior
Brooke Cannon had 46 assists, 19 digs, and four kills.
Trevecca coach Jayme Crowley is now 64-45 in her three years at the helm of the volleyball program, which includes a 26-16 mark in TranSouth play. Coach Crowley's teams are 7-6 in postseason play.
The Trojan volleyball program now has a 516-712 record in its 37 years of play. In conference play, Trevecca is 137-161, which includes a 99-80 record in TranSouth play.
