Tenn. - The Trojan volleyball team (14-19, 5-8 TranSouth) saw NAIA #2
Lee University (27-0, 9-0 Southern States) improve their win streak to
27 with a 12-25, 18-25, 17-25 win at Walker Arena.
Brooke Cannon
tallied 16 assists and nine digs whyile
Kristen Johnson, on her
birthday, led the team wtih nine kills and had eight digs. Halley
Wiggins led the team with 12 digs.
The second-ranked Lady Flames
saw Kelsey Leffew (23 digs) and Gretchen Higdon (22 digs) set the table
for 53 kills and a .328 hitting percentage by their teammates.
The
Trojans will play their final home match of the season Saturday
afternoon against Lyon (10-21, 2-8 TranSouth). It will be Senior Day for
Trojan volleyball player
Brooke Cannon, who will be honored prior to
the 1 p.m. match.
