The
Trojans came out on fire in the first half, shooting 70% from the field
in the opening 12 minutes. Both teams shot well early, but midway
through the half, the RedHawks cooled off and the Trojans opened up an
eight point lead at 31-23 with 8:55 to play. Trevecca's hot shooting
cooled off in the final four minutes, but the Trojans still managed to
hold the lead at the break, 38-36. The RedHawks came out quickly in the
second half, taking the lead back less than two minutes into the period
at 41-40. Martin Methodist continued to stretch out the lead, using a
7-0 run to take a 52-44 advantage with 12:08 remaining in the game.
After the Trojans cut the deficit to 52-48, the RedHawks rattled off a
7-0 run to make it 59-48 with 4:00 left, putting the game out of reach.
The Trojans got to within seven points at 63-56, but that was as close
as they would come, dropping the game 70-61.

Oduor led the Trojans with 16 points in the game, and Michael France
added 15. Tulio Yamasita led the Trojans with six rebounds. As a team,
the Trojans shot 26-of-54 (48.2%) from the floor, 6-of-15 (40%) from
behind the arc, and 3-of-6 (50%) from the charity stripe.

returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to Jackson, Tenn. to take
on the NAIA No. 4 Union Bulldogs (22-5, 11-2 TranSouth) at 8:00. Â
