Bulldogs Edge Trojans in Four

JACKSON, Tenn. - The Trojans (12-6, 3-2) visited Union University (17-1, 5-1 TSAC) on Thursday and fell 26-24, 21-25, 26-28, 23-25.

All four sets were close and yet the Bulldogs held off the Trojans for the win. Teegan Hunziker (16), Jessica Hood (13), and Jennifer Peterson (10) led the way in kills. Brooke Cannon had 44 assists and 20 digs. Haley White (24), Hood (21), and Peterson (20) all had high dig totals. Rachel Spotten led the team with four blocks. .Â

Trevecca's next home match will be against Freed-Hardeman (10-6, 6-1 TSAC) on Tuesday, October 6 at 7 p.m. The match with the Lions will be live on the internet - click for TNU live video at game time. Trevecca will also host Martin Methodist (10-6, 3-5 TSAC) next week. The RedHawks will visit on Thursday, October 8 at 7 p.m.
