The Trojans and Yellow Jackets both came out strong, with the Trojans hitting nine of their first 11 shots including 3-of-4 from long range, and Trevecca held the 21-18 lead with 11:40 to go in the first half. Cedarville used an 11-0 run which spanned the first media timeout to claim the 26-21 lead, but Trevecca quickly came back and tied the game at 26-26. Trevecca's Dennis Miruka had a good first half, with six points and six rebounds, but at the half, Cedarville held the 35-34 lead. Early in the second half, Cedarville used another 8-0 run to take a nine-point lead at 47-36, but Trevecca would not go away. Down by as many as 17 points in the second half, the Trojans fought back to cut it to six points at 64-58 with 3:34 to go in the game. The Trojans had a chance to cut further into the deficit with 1:21 to play when Matt Harner missed the front end of a bonus free-throw situation, but Trevecca was unable to get the rebound. The Yellow Jackets sealed the game at the foul line, taking the win 75-63.

Brian Oduor led the Trojans with 17 points, and he was joined in double figures by Michael France (13) and Matthew Elliott (11). Miruka led the Trojans with 10 rebounds. As a team, Trevecca shot 25-of-55 (45.5%) from the floor, 5-of-13 (38.5%) from long range, and 8-of-10 (80%) from the charity stripe. Trevecca managed just nine assists in the game, while Cedarville dished out 17.

The Trojans will take a break for the Christmas Holiday Season and return to action on January 3, 2009 when they host conference foe #RV Bethel College (10-3, 0-2) at Moore Gym.
