Trojans, Badgers Tie

Box Score MOBILE, Ala.. - Trevecca's men's soccer team (5-5-2) visited Spring Hill College (4-6-3) in Mobile, on Saturday coming away with the 1-1 tie.Â

Zechariah Townsend opened the scoring ht the 11th minute, converting on a pass from Brad Privett to give the Badgers the 1-0 lead. The Spring Hill lead held up for just over 12 minutes before Sam Madeley solved Dan Criscione to tie the score at one off a feed from Mark Foster.

The Trojans fired 11 shots at Criscione in the match, but other than Madeley, no one was able to put the ball in the goal. Hayden Coffman stopped three of the four shots taken by the Badgers in the match, earning his second tie of the season.

The Trojans are unbeaten since the calendar turned to October (3-0-1) and they have outscored their opponents 7-3 during that stretch

The team will play William Carey College (5-2-1) in Hattiesburg, Miss. on Monday at 7 p.m. as they make their way back to Nashville.
