GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Trevecca Nazarene University women's golf team opened play Monday at the Greenwood Invitational, hosted by Lander University at Greenwood Country Club, a par-72 course playing 6,037 yards.
Trevecca posted a 36-hole team score of 636 (319-317) and sits seventh in the 13-team field entering the final round of the two-day, 54-hole event.
Emma Almquist paced the Trojans through the opening two rounds with a 152 (77-75), placing her in a tie for 14th individually. Almquist also recorded five birdies, tied for the ninth-most in the field through 36 holes.
A total of 66 golfers is competing in the event.

The Trojans host the 2026 Gulf South Championships at the Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn. on April 20-21-22.
