MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The Trevecca Nazarene Women's Basketball team (12-6, 9-4 GSC) delivered a statement performance on the road, cruising past Auburn Montgomery (2-17, 2-11 GSC) with a commanding 92–65 victory on Saturday afternoon.
It is the Trojans' fifth win in a row and solidified their share of the #2 spot in the Gulf South Standings.

With the win, Trevecca improves to 3–6 all-time against AUM and completes a season sweep of the Warhawks.
THE MATCH
Trevecca came out firing in the opening quarter, setting the tone with a 24-point frame while establishing early control of the tempo. The Trojans scored 22 points in the second quarter, fueled by a late quarter 18-7 run, putting TNU up that put them up 44-21.
Jordan Gillies added 10 of the 18 points in the run. TNU led 46–27 at halftime.
The third quarter proved decisive. AUM closed the Trojan lead to 10 (58-48), but the Trojans rolled off an even bigger run, one that would prove to be insurmountable, as the Trojans outscored the Warhawks 24-6 from the 2:50 mark of the third quarter to the 6:56 of the fourth, a span of 5:54.
Cheyenne Trotter scored 12 of the points in the run. The run put the Trojans up 28. Trevecca scored 23 in the third period and never let AUM find a rhythm down the stretch, closing out the fourth quarter with 23-points to secure the 27-point win.
THE TEAM
Trevecca turned in one of its most efficient offensive outings of the season, shooting 50.0% from the field (33-of-66)while knocking down 20-of-23 from the free-throw line (87.0%).
The Trojans controlled the interior with 50 points in the paint, capitalized on 22 points off turnovers, and added 15 second-chance points. Defensively, Trevecca forced 16 turnovers and limited AUM to 35.4% shooting from the floor.
THE PLAYERS
Jordan Gillies led the Trojans with a game-high 27 points, adding six assists in a strong all-around performance. It matches her previous season high against Lee.
Cheyenne Trotter delivered a highly efficient outing with 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting, while also pulling down nine rebounds.
Brianna Burgess chipped in 12 points, and
Tatum Shaw added 12 points of her own to give Trevecca four players in double figures.
Ava Jones provided a spark off the bench with eight points, while Shinae Howard Johnson contributed six points and five rebounds.
